We took a coffee, a galao and a delicious pumpkin cake.... and this cake brought us to heaven! Very light, crusty, tasteful.... we could have asked for more!! And I'm usually not a desert person. Besides, the owner was cooking for lunch already and it seemed very good and healthy. I really recommend this place!

We decided to pop in for a bit and kill some time. It's a pretty big supermarket, which is fitting since Merida is not cluttered with people/buildings. You can pretty much get anything you'd expect to find in a supermarket here. There's a huge section dedicated to baby essentials and female hygiene. They had a mini bakery section with pastries and bread. There's a poultry and seafood part in the market, and also aisles of snacks and drinks. The store was bright and clean with friendly staff.
