According to "their menu": FAJITA SALAD Their choice of Steak or grilled Chicken, specially marinated and cooked with onions and bell pepper, served in a crispy tortilla shell with lettuce, tomatoes, grated cheese, sour cream and cheese dip. There was no lettuce, grated cheese or cheese dip. According to the manager after contacting about this issue said no cheese is included. Lettuce?? So what you pay for and what it says on their menu is not what you will get. I will not go back. read more

My fiancée and I came to this Mexican restaurant after we got done moving some things into her new apartment Friday night. I got the rice bowl - Texas style (chicken, steak and shrimp) and my fiancée got the chicken nachos. She also got a peach margarita (in honor of Jimmy Buffett) which was good. Everything was good and the reason why I'm giving this a four out of five stars is due to the fact that there was a cockroach near the kitchen and it crawled near our table. Usually very quiet but can get busy on the weekends or if there are community events or ball games. Friendly and funny staff, never have to wait longer than 10 minutes for food! I'm never left to go without a drink refill or chip refills. Portion sizes are just right, I never have to bring home left overs or leave not feeling full. All around great little place for its location! read more

La piramide i visit frequently they have a large menu with many selections from Mexican staples to seafood to burgers for the kids. Always fast and friendly. I'm not quite sure what to think of this place yet. It's a new Mexican restaurant in Warrior. Menu selection is great, offers a lot of dishes that you won't find at your typical Mexican-American Restaurant. Atmosphere is uncomfortable, at least in my opinion. The bright fluorescent lights and the picture of a man beating a woman makes you feel like you're being violently brainwashed. I ordered the Verde Burrito which comes with shredded beef and veggies then topped with cheese sauce and verde salsa. It was good not incredibly memorable though. Subtle flavors and good quality ingredients. My cousin ordered a chicken quesadilla. He liked his which came with shredded chicken and lots of cheese. My husband ordered the beef and chicken nachos. He HATED his and refuses to go back now. To his defense his didn't look nearly as appetizing as ours. The grilled chicken really wasn't good at all. I'm not discouraging anyone from going but be aware their reputation hasn't been established yet. I'll still have to give it another go to really know. read more

Had lunch with my son today and we were really disappointed with the food. I had the lunch burrito with refried beans and rice, and it was awful. It's been awhile since I'd eaten here and the food has really gotten bad. It's just reheated and tasteless. I would give it one star but the tea was good and the service was as well. This has become my goto spot for Mexican when at my office in Alabama north of Bham. The single greatest attribute is the consistency in which they serve good food. With so many places being hit or miss nowadays, it's nice to have a good spot that is always "on". No, it's not Superior Grill, but what is? For your typical "chips and salsa" place, its better than all the ones I have tried north of Bham. It may not be much to look at from the outside, but don't let that fool you, good food awaits inside. read more

I normally go to Munoz's (Pinson) or Las Arcos (Gardendale); however, I was trying to stay close to home tonight, so I ended up here. For the most part the food was ok; however, my son did order some nachos and a hard taco, which were both extremely stale. The part I was disappointed in the most was the service. I have a 4 yr old daughter, who was standing a couple of feet from the table, while I packed up our things, when a male worker came by and rudely told her to get back to her table; I did not say anything. Then when we went to check out, with a $65 ticket, I asked for a bag of chips to go, because I had cheese dip left over, they were going to charge me another $5. The food was decent but I've had bigger portions for the same price at other Mexican restaurants. The House Guacamole was insulting. It's just slices of cold avocado on top of pico de gallo. Who wants to eat that? Why even serve it? We complained and were made to feel foolish for even asking. We were told the picture is of actual guacamole but the description says otherwise. I have eaten here twice, I don't know why I went in the second time, but realized it was a mistake when I saw a roach crawling across the floor in front of my table. It had apparently been around there a while since people were pointing. The first time there were flies EVERYWHERE, I understand that we are in Alabama and it's hot but I've never been into a restaurant where there where 20+ flies in the dining area and none of the workers are concerned. In fact, our order was taken and delivered by a woman talking on the phone. The entire duration of our stay, she was walking around serving tables, expoing food, on the phone. Have been there several times but lately the food and staff have gone down. The employees children are there and very noisy. Our order was not correct the last time there and the food tasted like it was processed not fresh. The salsa was basically tomato sauce a little onion and a ton of salt. It's okay. Their chicken fingers are over cooked most of the time. The servers never check to see if you need more drinks. The cheese dip needs to be thickened up more (it's too watery). They need to season their beef and chicken.. to bland sometimes. read more

So the salsa is incredibly salty. I'll start with that. But the "house made guacamole" is insulting to say the least. It's literally a plate of a few pieces of cut up avocado and pico de gallo. This place is THE BEST MEXICAN in Warrior and Sooooo much cheaper than their franchise competitor "Munoz" which is over priced, over-crowded, poor service and very bland. Service at La Piramide is awesome, allowing for combos & substitutions easy. I've eaten their Stuffed Poblanos (usually called Chile Rellenos) and had one beef one chicken - a dish I always get the 1st time at a new Mexican Restaurant and it was honestly the BEST I've ever had. They have an amazing pork dish "Ashley's Carnitas" which is phenomenal. The décor is bright but who cares, its clean, food is great & cheap and service is super. So far everything we have tried has been perfect eve some dishes we've never encountered at other Mexican places. Can't wait to try more from this place, it is really good you won't regret coming here. As for the guy who order "nachos" - That is not actually a Mexican Dish, it's just a made up snack for tasteless Americans, so try something from their culture and It Will Be GREAT.
