Rice was hard and cold and not really tasty. The oysters were harder than usual. We ordered two of their Marbella sunrise (drinks) and they were good. Overall the food was NOT good or fresh. It made me sick! I got food poisoning. Bustling grocery store with lines outside or inside to pay, which is nice because it's popular! Weigh your nuts and grains and veggies/fruit. There was a lady giving samples of fresh hummus and something else. I asked about salsa fresca (though I saw some nice looking jarred salsas). She suggested making it myself with a handful of ingredients found at the store. I did, and it was fantastic. Around the store and outside, there were also festive decorations that would be fun to get, if you're so inclined. I like grocery stores, especially when they are unique to their neighborhood. DAC fulfills the promise of a fun time shopping for things you need and maybe also for things you want.
