I passed this place couple times since Bikini opened, finally went and took my time slow there. I…read morelike every moment of it, really impressive, love the concept of the place very much. This is a place when café, restaurant and design market all of them come into one. Brilliant! The name of this place, which was called "Supermarket before, now it called "Super Shop Eat Meet". At first I was amused, and then I actually found it genius! Somehow match it perfectly.
The interior design of Super Shop Eat Meet is very neat, modern and urban. There are many really cool designs all over the place, from chairs, tables to some small decorations. Funny thing is when I first walk in, I wasn't sure about which seats if I allow to sit down, some of them looked just as beautiful as they are just samples of their design, and then the clerk there told me that I could sit anywhere I want, that's really great, people able to sit comfortably and enjoy a very nice drink from them.
There are also window seats, one side to the Bikini, the other side right next to the Zoologischer Garten, great view for chilling. They also offer seats outside. When the weather is good, after a long walk, it's a great place to sit down and relax. You even allow to read books inside during your coffee. The price is actually very reasonable, less than I expected. I haven't really try their kitchen, but it does look great, sure next time will try them out.
There is one thing can be confusing in this place, is kinda hard to tell who are clerks and who are waiter/waitress. Since they all wearing the same staff uniform. Well, when you ask they do will tell you friendly who and where to go to. Quite weird system, it's ok for me, but my friend almost got offended. The design of toilets also cool.
Overall, it is a really cool place to relax, cool views, great atmosphere, amazing location, creative kitchen, brilliant design products. Perfect place for art/design lovers or great taste shoppers! If you are around Bikini Berlin, don't miss this place.
