It is always busy filled with families, birthday celebrations with young and old. Brush up on your Italian as only one waitress knew some English but boy were they awesome to us when I struggled with my Italian. Reservations are recommended as they are very busy. We didn't have them the second time we showed up but luckily our waitress from the night before grabbed us as we were being turned away and made room for us with another waitress. The wine cellar was amazing and so was the pricing. The food is without saying , just wonderfully home cooked. They have some "specialty" dishes like pastas, but we came here for pizza. We got the Bufala e salciccia and Porcini. The pizzas are generous on cheese, which I don't normally complain about, but it did overwhelm the more subtle flavors of the porcini and buffalo mozzarella. The dough / crust though - amazing even for a basic place. The crust had the perfect outer texture and a well seasoned inner doughy center - amazing. Prices are amazing compared to the US. House wine is cheap at €9 for 1L - uncharacteristic but drinkable and not bad. Oh how I've missed Italy!
