The clerk recommended a size I might not have tried, brought out several similar sizes to make absolutely sure, and recommended a couple of different special inserts to try. He made sure I got exactly the right combination and they performed admirably under very trying conditions. I walked in them for miles, mostly on concrete sidewalks and marble floors. They were just what I needed! I mentioned to him that I had some SAS shoes I had bought elsewhere that weren't comfortable and he said I could bring them in to be stretched. I did, and got a different clerk who was also knowledgeable and helpful--and did it for free! I am very, very pleased with this store. The shoes are expensive, but these are high-quality brands. I find that they are worth it!
