They also have bottle beers (the typical Victoria and Corona). They serve natural flavor pulque and a flavored one which apparently changes daily. So one dat we had the strawberry one and the next day we had a nutty one, both were good. The combo meal our group all ordered was good which included sausage, carne asada, a fajita mix, beans and tortilla. The food was good but unfortunately took a very long time to prepared. This isn't a very big place but its definitely cute so if you can snag a table then grab some drinks and have a great time here!

Now I understand it is frequented more by a younger, maybe even college crowd. The folks I met were very friendly and eager to describe the place, supposedly named for a mine fire. Many of the bar's clients at that time were local miners. In 2006 I'm not sure whether it was suitable for ladies. I will definitely go in there again. Also near Mercado Hildago there is a bar called the "Ladies Bar" which I liked, and another miner's bar on the Paseo Embaradoras; both which seemed to be locals bars. No bands or anything, just a bunch of us old farts sitting and drinking. I'm 64, so take that into consideration. El Incendio is in a safe area not to far from el jardin.

They were advertising a soccer game and one was on when I came up. There's like four bigger TVs on the walls .. asked staff for nfl game and she put on easily for me on big screen. Like most sports bars these days still have normal tunes going, which is fine game would be in Spanish anyway. Cold beers, some huge pitcher keg thing for you and friends! friendly service.. free snacks :)!
