What a truly amazing experience. The location is easy to find as it's off a main thoroughfare. The atmosphere is elegant but not stuffy, a modern touch with nice low lighting and well spaced tables. The service is outstanding, truly professional waiters. Juan Carlos was our waiter. He was attentive and offered great suggestions. Armando was another waiter who impressed me as he was ensuring every wineglass was spotless. Restaurants in Mexico offer a purse stand that is nice and classy for women to hang their purse. Now to the main event, the food! My wife with her small appetite, ordered the shrimp bathed in a sweet tamarind sauce which she loved and enjoyed. She had the tequila Don Julio 70 served (a las banderitas) accompanied by sangrita and lemon juice which represent the colors of the Mexican flag. I ordered the ribeye steak that was absolutely delicious along with a side of cauliflower and zucchini. I enjoyed the Cune Tempranillo wine. For desert we had a scoop of ice cream bathed with Bacanora (a local agave liquor) that topped off a wonderful meal and experience.

Portions are ample so I would caution on the quantity unless you want to take some home. An amazing experience twice served!…read more I was in town for Alex's wedding, a very good friend and a food lover to say the least. He took the family and myself to Reforma the day we arrived and it was a warm welcome. The coffee is amazing the food, especially the huevos Shukshuaka (sp) was delicious! The Shukshuka was fresh and delightful with a delicious slice of bread or as the locals call pan used to soak up the sauce. An introduction to the meal was delicious pastries and a fruit plate with granola and cottage cheese. The papaya, pineapple, melon, and apples glistened with a drizzle of honey that shimmered in the late morning ambient light. A very classy atmosphere Reforma has a rustic look that screams Mexican ranch style hacienda featured in an Architectural Digest. My second experience at Reforma was the day afterward, where we were met with the same delightful service. After switching my decision from pan elotes to chilaquiles, I again had an incredible experience filled with many refills of beautiful coffee and a refreshing fresh squeezed glass of strawberry juice. Two glasses sufficed but I wish I had more!!!!
