The finess and timing of every dish was spot on. There was not a single question that our group asked that any member of the staff couldn't answer. They were able to accomodate every request we made and most assuredly went above and beyond. Now to the food...the marinated prawns, the risotto, the lamb loin......only a few things in life make you close your eyes and moan so passionately. Well every single bite makes you close your eyes and believe you are in heaven. It is an experience that is hard to put into words. I feel so fortunate to have had the opportunity to eat at Il Ritrovo. The only downside is I will not look at any nice meal the same and I have no idea how to top this anniversary next year. We live in New York. Bravo Chef Roberto, your food is impeccable. You really deserve at least one star Michelin.
