We were staying at an awful nearby airport hotel (that shall remain unnamed but is in walking distance!) due to an early a.m. flight back to the States and very grumpy. The thought of eating dinner at the hotel was stomach-turning and with a quick search on google maps we found Ona Nuit. This adorable restaurant is located in what I would call an industrial neighborhood however it could easily be transported to Los Angeles and fit right in. They specialize in "Km.0" or slow food with an emphasis on local ingredients. We chose the seasonal tasting menu, everything we had was fresh and delicious! It was priced reasonably at around 30 Euro/pp. Only thing I would mention is that unless you are staying by the airport this restaurant is a trek from central Barcelona; also if you are strictly English speaking you may have some slight difficulty ordering (there is an English menu) but the staff was very gracious even with our broken Spanish! Everything is beautifully presented and they handled our large group with ease. Definitely make a reservation, especially if you've got a large group. They may not have a Michelin star, but they're as good as or better than any place I've been that has one. If you're in the main part of Barcelona, it can be a trek out here (it is SO worth it), but if you're staying by the convention center and its nearby shopping mall, it is an easy walk and I haven't found anything else in the area that comes close.
