Nice bakery for a good and quick breakfast. I had my regular Tostada con Tomate with a Coffee which I liked and it was rather cheap (EUR 2.60). Service is good and very quick. read more

The torrija was one of, if not the best one we had while in Madrid. The service was quick and friendly at the to go counter for me.

We happened upon it and I was so pleasantly surprised. I think we went three times during our time in Madrid. I loved the counter experience, I'd definitely recommend that option. I wasn't looking to sit down and do all of that upstairs so my review is solely based on counters on the first floor. The locals love this spot and that is quite obvious. I was told in advance that they do and coming here was very enjoyable. The pastries and coffee are very yummy, you won't be disappointed. Makes for the perfect spot if you really want to get your day started but want to grab a quick bite before doing so.

Churros were not oily but could have been more toasted. The jamon sandwiches could have been more meaty but it held us over till lunch. It was a bit expensive for the area but I think it's because it's in the busy part of the city and by the Bernabeu stadium.

Even when it's crazy busy ive never had to wait long to put in an order or pay. The coffee is great and cheap and so are the pastries (the empanadilla de manzana is a personal favorite). If you're here for breakfast, I highly recommend the banana-espresso bread. I'm very much blessed to have this place to close to my apartment!!! It's amazing.
