I had went out to this breeder on Halloween, October 31, 2024 looking to buy a chihuahua puppy. They didn't have one that day, but their white female was pregnant and due in November. I saw the mom and said, Great! I'll take one when they are ready! I was so EXCITED! (she had four just 11 days later). While I was there they wanted me to look at a 6 month old Pomchi. She was the last of her litter. She was a sweet dog, but a little shy around strangers. I ended up getting her that day, Halloween. I didn't get any papers on her, but I figured since she was a mix, there would be no akc papers. In 2008, I had bought a male chihuahua puppy from them who did come with registered papers. He lived for 13 years so that is why I had went back to the same breeder. He did develop diabetes the last 2 years of his life and I had to give him daily insulin shots. I was heart broken and in shock when my little chocolate male chihuahua puppy died January 10, 2025. Plus, the cost of the treatment was over $1,000! I did ask for my refund since I had met all the requirements in the contract with the heading: RYE PATCH FARMS the address , listed in Ludowici, Georgia. The contract states: 1. You must take your puppy to a veterinarian within 7 days of purchase. If a problem is found, you must contact the seller within those 7 days. I did. I took him for his puppy wellness exam . Once I found out that he had parvo on Friday morning, I kept the seller informed. After he died, I called on Saturday morning and the male, got aggressive with me. I finally got my refund a week later on Friday which happened to be the very day that I had the female Pomchi spayed, had to have her baby canine teeth pulled for more money, and since the puppy had just died a week before, I requested a Heartworm test(again, extra money) and she tested POSITIVE!! The treatment is very COSTLY and not guaranteed to be 100 percent. The vet was shocked that she was so young and had them since it takes 6 months for them to even register on a test. None of this was my fault and the aggressive male at this place got nasty wit me on the phone and tried to blame me for what happened. I now have an a very EXPENSIVE VET BILL for both the dogs ! My heart is broken! And no papers for the chihuahua puppy, I guess they stopped registering them after I got my first puppy in 200

Brad the breeder arranged for it to be delivered on Christmas eve. The puppy looks in perfect health and I will take him to the vet next week for a total exam. Brad has been very helpful with responding to any question I have so far. We named our puppy Fluffy and he is a delight for both me and my wife keeping us busy all day long.

She texted me updates during their walks and was always able to accommodate my ever changing schedule. In addition to walks, she also taught Pancake some basic obedience during their visits. One day, right after I adopted my pup, she snuck into a care package I'd put together for my deployed friends (read, boatloads of chocolate) while I was at work. Luckily, Erica dropped by for their daily walk and she immediately contacted me and even took her to the nearby vet to have her stomach evacuated before taking her home. I worked 45min away and Erica did not even hesitate to offer to take her to the vet. I used Blissful Buddha for a few weeks before I found Erica and while I thought they were professional and courteous, I felt it was a bit more of a corporate vibe and they rarely sent the same walker twice. With Erica, she will treat your pup like her own and you as a friend. She also was willing to speak with my new landlord about my dog to allay their concerns about having an "aggressive" dog in their rental and thankfully, they were willing to take her word.
