We were intrigued by all photos of this spot so had to stop in and grab some lunch to check it out. Once you walk up the stairs to the entrance, you are transported into a space so chalk full of art, you don't know where to look first! It's seriously everywhere, covering every inch of space. From the walls to the ceilings, even in the tables!
We were greeted and seated immediately (it was pretty slow midday) and we're welcomed with a shot served with a tomatillo - that was a new one for me! It was delicious and set for our palates nice and ready. It was not on the menu, but I asked and they did have red wine (always worth it to ask!) and my boyfriend got a beer. For food, he ordered the soup and the enchiladas rojos and I went for the tacos dorados. None of the food was overly spectacular, but it was tasty and filled us up!
Our service was great and it was totally worth it just to come and look around for a little while. It is such a unique dining experience, I would recommend it for sure!
Ps- they were awarded one of the top 100 spots you can't miss in Mexico! So if you're in the area, you really should pop in and check it out! read more
