There is an old sigh tower on top of a hill, you can access to it through an elevator. It is worth to go there, but before you can replenish your fluids in this old classic. Everybody in Malgrat knows the Barretina, and I would say it is not bad at all. They have a nice terrace in a little square, worth the visit. Before taking the elevator, or better hiking to the castle you can stop and have a drink in there. The vermut is really good, and they will add some olives on the house. It is a little pricey though but you are staying in a part of this town history.

We started with chorizos cooked in cider, pimientos de Padron, squid in batter, black puddings. The boys enjoyed a glass of cava with us (always nice to share bubbles!). First set finished. Now I can't remember exactly what we had but we had 2 further sets of food. All thoroughly enjoyed. I took the opportunity of having some excellent Montsant and then Priorat wine. The boys ended up being happy and full as I key they would. A great experience!
