Keeping the 5 star status going!…read more Arrived on a Friday evening and stayed until Sunday morning. Staff was nothing but polite, considerate, and helpful. They stuck our 5 year old's name on customer of the day and allowed her to spin the prize wheel each day we stayed. She was thrilled to win a koozie. Hotel lobby was clean and they had candy, water bottles, and fresh cookies out for guests to enjoy. You could borrow an appliance for your room if needed. There was a little food pantry stocked to the brim if you needed a quick snack or forgot to pack something. Yogurt, apples, oranges, coffee, water, and hot cocoa were all free. Our room was clean and tidy. It came fully stocked with utensils, dishes, cookware, paper towels, dish soap/dishwasher pods, a coffee maker, fridge, and microwave. The hotel was also pet friendly, which was a major plus since we had our two dogs with us. There was a nice little gym section which was connected to the laundry facility and pool. We didn't use the gym or laundry during this stay, but our kids loved the pool. The water was a little cold for my liking, but the kids didn't seem to mind. The area was handicap accessible, clean, and stocked with fresh towels. There was a lovely outdoor patio with heat lamps, tables, and a few grills. Around back, there was a dog walk area stocked with poop bags and a trash can. To my surprise, there were also children's toys-- two cozy coupes, a slide, some scooters, and balance bikes. These people really have it together! If we ever go back to Carlsbad, I'd stay there again!

Very clean and staff was awesome. The manager was super nice and helped us with any questions we…read morehad. Recommend this hotel to anyone.

Longhorn Party Pad - 4/20/2024

Longhorn Party Pad

I was concerned about the possible lack of parking, but there ended up being plenty. I reserved this fairly large facility from 3PM to midnight for a charge of $960 due upon arrival. A $100 deposit was required for a cleanup fee. If your group cleans up, the deposit is returned. Overall, my group of about 50 guests had a great time and was impressed, however, it was not without a few pitfalls. There are several ways to bring this place from good to great & I'm rooting for them because I want this husband/wife duo to do well: - the lone bathroom! The toilet is raised with a steep step which was not user-friendly even for my athletic 5'6" body much less for my handicapped aunt. She went home early due to this. - several tables & chairs were not in good working condition - weird wood piece on the wall that prevented the fridge from shutting nicely - the arcade games devoured everyone's quarters! Lol. - as an owner, I would supply a list of policies and infractions for renters along with consequences. Everything told to me was verbal. I don't have THAT much faith in humanity even with cameras on the premises and the owners living next door. A contract would keep both sides honest. - last, but certainly not least, it was difficult to understand just exactly what was included in the reservation price due to the owner opting to text instead of call. I'm a so-called millennial, but I hate text messaging. So I relied heavily on my Facebook photo investigative skills to determine certain information. PROS + bluetooth speaker + toilet paper & paper towels + alcohol allowed + separate party rooms + fridge/freezer + microwave + TVs + arcade game room + playground set + basketball hoop + sand volleyball court + foldout tables & chairs + outdoor lighting + 2 bounce houses (weather permitting for one of them) + ample parking + several trash cans & extra liners I'd do a few things differently, but my mom had a special time and that's what mattered.

This space was perfect for my moms surprise birthday! Plenty of space for 30+ people, food, and…read moredancing. Lots of parking outside and very easy to access. Kim was very helpful and easy to get in contact with!

Avoided using the noisy a/c (the a/c in motels always seems to be noisy) New carpet-tiles TV armoire (not being used for the TV) provided extra storage space Nice swimming pool Picnic tables Cute playground that our kids loved (esp. the 6 year old) 3 bars of soap Fridge & microwave in good condition Bedspreads seemed new Pleasant people behind the counter Multiple washers & dryers Cons: Not enough bath towels (we were never able to get a fourth towel) Dog poo in playground (that ended up on aforementioned 6-year-old's shoe) No crossbar on the towel bar Wifi never worked for iPods/iPhone, and was unreliable on laptop FYI, don't expect a safe deposit box, hair dryer, or breakfast (there was coffee, and some pretty unappetizing packaged mini muffins and pseudo cinnamon rolls).

The swings are great for adults and kids alike and the grass is soft for the occasional flop. They even have cool spring horses like when I was a kid. The pool is clean and great to get all that childhood energy expended that got all stores up from that long drive from Albuquerque, Ft Stockton, or El Paso. Look folks, this is a real place and not owned by some chain. The Stage Coach Inn is historic Roswell at its best. You do have the option of huge flatscreen tv' with free HBO. But I suggest you get your kids outside.
