This cafe opened recently and has been very busy. I managed to pop in during a lull. It's neat and cozy inside with enough seating for 5-6 couples and maybe three bar seats looking outwards. On nice days there is also seating outside which is terrific for folks wanting to people watch, as this location is between the major bus depot Place de Verdun and the central marche shopping area.
There are sandwiches in a glass case along with pastries. A menu is on the wall and I could point to the items I wanted.
The mozzarella pesto sandwich. I ordered came out looking much better than what was in the case as it was grilled panini-style. I took a bite and the center was still cold. The flat white with oatmilk was really good. When I was done I I took a small dessert item to go. It was tasty but nothing special, and it was so small I'm not certain it was worth the cost.
This is a very nice cafe but there's nothing that makes it interesting. I may stop in again if I'm in the area and want a coffee to go, but otherwise there are far more unique experiences with better food options and solid coffee options nearby. read more
