I stumbled upon this B&B upon the website recommendation of a wine tour that I booked - - and could not have been happier with my 3-night stay! I travel A LOT for work (100+ nights/yr) and always stay in hotels. But the charming hospitality, modern conveniences, close proximity to town, and extreme attention to detail have made this little B&B one of my favorite stay experiences. Basically for 3 nights, I felt as though I was staying in my own little apartment - - my room had everything (and more) that I could have needed. Large balcony with picturesque views... modern bathroom with amenities... large spacious room.... super comfortable bed... desk complimentary WiFi that worked flawlessly! :) (much appreciated!) The rooms are big and comfortable, the shower is one of the best I've ever had in Europe and the breakfasts were a delicious combination of local cheeses, salamis and pastries. The pool is a great place to kick back and relax before or after a day of wine tasting, and getting to play with Moon, their dog, made us miss our pups at home a little less. But the best part about Bricco is the hospitality of Livio and Claudia. From the welcome wine with cheese & salami, to the endless dinner recommendations and suggestions for the surrounding area to the evening nightcap of grappa, you couldnt ask for better service. They make you feel like you are part of their family and I was truly sad the day our stay ended. There are 3 floors and you may have to walk up some beautiful stairs. The double room I was in was modern and very nice and large and very QUIET. Another room I saw was more rustic but also very nice. The service is very personalized. The owner will go out of her way for you. The hotel is in more of a business district and very safe. But there are some nice restaurants close by. I chose it due to proximity to Cadorna station where the airport express runs from. The hotel is a 10 minute walk to the station. You have to walk through a grassy park so if you have a lot of bags you may need to take a 2 minute cab ride. The train to the airport takes 30 minutes and the hotel will help you with the schedule and help you with tickets. I recommend this hotel and I would stay here again!
