Since I arrived at the tail end of their service (around 3pm), they said I can have what's left of the appys, entrees and desserts for 17€ (25€ value). The atmosphere was very bright and clean, the hot dishes served in mini iron casserole pots on a warmer, and there was a lot of selection. I ended up with: - seared cod w/ veggies: cod was a *bit* tough considering it was sitting on a warmer, but I think it would have been good when it was fresh from the kitchen - seared beef: nicely done, medium rare (while still sitting on warmer) - assorted salads - mushroom and green beans - Brie quiche - escargot in pesto sauce: def my fav! I had 12.. don't judge. - charcuterie - veggie soup (needed a pinch of salt) - assorted desserts: Brie, pannacotta, chocolate mousse, cheesecake, chocolate slivers, fruit salad Overall, the food was good, and would return. I'm curious to see what other lunch entrees I missed, but I was happy with what I had. They started setting up a tea service around 4pm with mini desserts, and said it was 6€ for 3 desserts and a drink; or 10€ for unlimited desserts and a drink. If I wasn't so stuffed, I would have tried their tea service. *This restaurant was listed in the Paris Pass booklet with a 10% discount - but I found this restaurant based on tripadvisor reviews. If I had found this through the discount booklet, I wouldn't have bothered as I try to avoid the tourist-trap recommendations. But I'm glad I went here!

There were 3 mains, a brunch menu, charcuterie, and desserts. The staff was very friendly and the food was very good. It's a good way to try a number of French dishes in small portions for one set menu price. Try to sit near the video monitors towards the back and you are treated to a short, silent documentary about the palace with great visuals on which Kings added different sections to the palace!

Comme Chez Soi is an Asian buffet restaurant. I visited this place a Saturday night. The staff were…read morefriendly. It has good selections of stir fried seafood, meat and vegetables, excellent desserts, and okay sushi. The raw bar is a little questionable to me. I don't know if there is any decent asian buffet in either San Francisco or Boston area, and as far as I know this place is better than what remains in either area.

I'll be straight up honest here - my favorite part about Comme Chez Soi is that, being a buffet,…read moreit's a lot more time efficient than dining out elsewhere in Paris. Sometimes you just want to get your food, chow down, pay and bounce as quickly as possible. Maybe it's because you've spent the day walking around. Or you're getting home super late from work. The last thing you want is an hour plus long meal experience, but you also don't want fast food. The food is fine here, if a bit random. There's a big ham leg in the middle, some simple sushi, fried items, salads, cheeses. I like the ice cream and fruit selection they have. They also have a grill in the back where they will cook up stuff fresh for you. Go for the mushrooms and steak. However, it's not really clear when your food is ready or if someone will bring it to you. Other than that though, the service is generally good. The staff here seem to be really interested in people's places of origin...they were surprised I was Filipino American and asked me to teach them some Tagalog words. If you're in Paris on vacation, this is far from a destination spot. But if you're just tired as hell, it's a welcome sight.

They have an English menu and a very lovely server that spoke English. Here's what we had: -Fried shrimps and egg roll with sweet dipping sauce - very good and very similar to what I'm used to in L.A. -Noodles with shrimp - tasty and they had sambal oelek to drench it with. -Cantonese fried rice - probably my favorite. The rice was cooked to perfection and had a great flavor. -Imperial shrimps - a lot of shrimp with onions and a lot of garlic. The shrimp could've been cooked a little more but good nonetheless We had jasmine tea that was delicious. I would really recommend anyone staying in the area to try this place is you are craving Chinese food. It really hits the spot.

Dim Sum in Paris. Shoot why not?…read more Reviews were great. My husband loves dim sum. So we figured let's go get some. For us, it was A-OK. Probably tasted better to us because we were tired of pizza, sandwiches, etc. loved that they have an all you can eat option. they have a set menu for their all you can eat. once they bring out their set menu items you're allowed to inform them of which items you'll like to eat more of. why i loved that they have an all you can eat option? the price for it was pretty reasonable compared to everything else we've been eating in europe. it gave us the opportunity to try a little bit of everything. did it taste like dim sum in LA? unfortunately not. nothing was super memorable to me and once i tried each item i didn't really wanna reorder anything. the XLB had no juice inside of it. which i totally was disappointed about. esp when XLB is known to be good because it is juicy. service was pretty good. food came out really quick. you'll leave smelling like deep fried food since they make some of the food right in front of the window. overall, if you want to get more bang for your buck and wanna have some asian food then i would say try it out. if not it's definitely passable. tips: *accepts credit cards and cash *restrooms are available. *staff speaks english, french, and chinese. *street parking *serves alcohol. *takes reservation. *no wifi. *ask for tap water to save $ *within walking distance to the metro.
