No frills, just good food, simple decor - Japanese prints around the wall-mounted television. It's on the road to Vendôme, just 200m from the top of the old town, and there's a fair amount of passing traffic.
Price-wise it's good value with menus starting at around €13 for chicken karage. Platters (ie without rice, salad and soup) start at €12 for salmon sushi and salmon maki. The maki with tempura prawns and spicy sauce (€7 for 6 pieces) is really delicious.
This restaurant has none of the problems that I've encountered in the other sushi restaurants in Blois - for example the fish and rice are the right temperature and the miso soup is real miso.
In fact, this is some of the best sushi I've found in France, and I've heard tell that people drive 40km from Romorantin to fetch take away. True story!
