We liked this hotel very much -- what really impressed us was the restaurant. You'd have to book ahead but it's worth the taxi/transportation details to the outskirts of the city to have dinner here even if you're not staying in the hotel.
The chef creates & prepares a 3 course menu each day, with fresh local ingredients. We stayed 2 nights and ate at the restaurant both evenings -- the food the first night was SO amazing we changed our plans to have dinner elsewhere the second night. His sauces were stunning -- everything was simple and elegant, prepared just-so, making great ingredients even better.
the hotel was also very nice -- the rooms were completely renovated, quiet, nice bathroom. the grounds are old-style farmhouse. read more
