Every time we've been here, it seems like everyone knows everyone, greeting each other as they arrive to have a meal or just a beer. The jamón ibérico was excellent, as well as the queso manchego. The lamb chops were tender and very flavorful. The spices were minimal - with quality meat, all you need is salt and pepper to bring out the beautiful flavors. Not being a fan of overly sweet food, I was surprised that I really loved the berenjenas con miel (eggplant with honey). The nuttiness of the berenjenas balanced out the sweetness.
