When we arrived relatively early in the afternoon, we couldn't check-in yet, but the woman working was so friendly and helpful in giving us a load of wonderful things to explore, booking our reservations for dinner, pouring us drinks, educating us on Belgian beer, and being generally the cheeriest and friendliest welcome crew. The lodging itself is neat and clean, a good blend of historic and modern. We were on the top floor, which was only a problem for our large American bags as there is no lift. While we didn't eat at the cafe, we did enjoy a few draft beers and a few cocktails. The courtyard is a charming spot. The whole space was well-located, being close to the folk museum, great restaurants, and only a short walk to the market and plenty of churches.
