Quaint wee Cafe & bakery on the way into Picton. It's beautiful country and a great spot to stop,…read moresit down and listen to nature. With the echo of cars. But when the cars stop the bell birds come through loud and clear and you soak up the sun shine in joy. There's a huge parking lot to the right of the estate, easy to find a spot. There's a small kids park/playground with a swing set up. You'll find this place sort of a throw back as the guys that run this place are living true to olden day times. No modern doodads and the ladies have super long locks as they don't cut their hair with their cotton clothes. They make the bread on sight, the eggs are laid by the cluck clucks out the back so my toast and eggs were divine. The coffee is actually surprisingly good! They have small cups and big mugs for those of us that need a super hit to keep driving instead of curling up under a tree in the sunshine. There's oaken tables inside and seating outside under umbrellas out the front and a cosy outside area out the back too covered in trellis flowers and seating. There's small items that are all handmade for sale inside that I'll be going to check out soon. So if you're in the area or want to do a day trip, this is a beautiful country road drive out here with fresh air and wildlife to listen to. The cars are a watching point too. As are the bikes on good days. Lovely day trip if you want a day out.

I visited this place a week after the other so it was still vivid and fresh in my mind. They are different places ran by the same people. Even the menu items are different. But as with the Yellow Deli, the food was amazing and worth the wait. Next time I think I'll try the Ruben Sandwich that they are known for. The green drink is also done right and it was my first time having it. Will be back here again and tell all my friends about it. They also are priced quite reasonable compare to most places these days. Their pies are amazing too, don't usually go for dessert but no skipping that here.

They are hands on operators and it shows. The Decor is terrific, the layout practical and the atmosphere always buzzing. If you find its really busy , my advice, have a curbside coffee and wait. It will be worth it. Special mention to the Chef. Proactive with his menu and always gets his "Specials" right. Relevant, tasty and fresh. Simple concepts done right always win over complex taste buds. For me , being greeted with a big smile , a table outside, a double ristretto 3/4 Latte aka "The whoopie" made by the very talented Baristas, and I'm all joy. We've had a number of coffees here and find it to be very consistent. We also feel that the menu is very approachable with everyone's Eggs Benny, Shakshuka, hotcakes, salads and sandwiches to name a few. Being winter, I was Straight into ordering a porridge. It is probably the best I've tried this season. The porridge is a hugely generous serving, made on oat milk with cinnamon, vanilla and topped with blueberries, strawberries, blackberries, raspberries, poached peaches and some granola. I loved this and recommend you order it! They've also got some tasty little treats on the front counter that make a perfect accompaniment with your coffee. What we found was a bustling little shopping complex with a vibrant busy cafe at the centre of it. We grabbed a table and ordered at the front counter where we saw the kitchen well and truly in action! I love being able to see where the magic happens! We sat and our drinks came out quickly. My wife with a tea which was nicely made, not too strong :) I had a double ristretto and a Picollo. My ristretto was a bit long, more like an espresso, but well balanced and full of Flavour. My Picollo was equally as nice. Well balanced, good Flavour and not too weak. Our food came and YUM! I got the ricotta pancakes which were delicious. Reminded me of good home cooking! Not too fancy just good honest food! My wife got the poached eggs, bacon avo on sourdough! Exactly what was promised and CRISPY Bacon! Nom nom nom! A great atmosphere, and experience, we will definitely be back. :)

Anyway, long story short, had nothing to do on a Saturday morning so drove to this place and was gobsmacked. Haven't tasted anything quite like it before. We ordered and after we came back from a 25 min walk we were told it would take 15 min more. They didn't say sorry or something and I heard it happens often here. When we finally got the Kürtosh it was dried out on the outside because it was too long in the oven. Moreover there was hardly any Nutella inside compared to other Kürtosh stores. The atmosphere in the cafe is relaxed. But the interior design feels a bit artificially hipster and not cosy. Biggest downside are the walls that are not covered and therefore it can be a bit too loud. I give it 2 stars because the coffee was good and the rest of the staff seemed friendly.
