The room was small, but that is expected in Europe. We appreciated that the room had a balcony. The downtown area was only a short walk away. We purchased the halfboard option with our night's stay. It was nice that we had a handful of different choices for dinner. The selection of breakfast foods was plentiful!

Dinner and breakfast had good options and tasty. Dinner had a good spread of options including meat, cheese, salad, salmon one night, 2 desserts; our other night stay had a la carte dinner which was my favorite of the two and had much better desserts. Breakfast had multiple types of yogurt including packaged flavored, chèvre, natural; granola and plain cornflakes, fruit, dried fruit, salad, charcuterie, baguette, butter croissants, sliced bread, multiple jams, hard boiled eggs. Location is within short walking distance to a bus stop, grocery store and some shops. Wifi was good, but did have poor coverage in the dining area. I would stay here again.

We didn't have dinner at the hotel but we did enjoy some good drinks at the bar. Rooms are modest but clean with an incredible view. We had breakfast here, which was a pretty standard continental breakfast. And also had paid for a bagged lunch to bring with us on our hike which had plenty of food for us. All in all it was a really nice stay and I would gladly stay here again.

The hotel has such a fun vibe. It's just buzzing with energy. Rooms are tiny but clean and well appointed (there's a wall mounted towel warmer so you can hand wash and dry some of your clothes here). The breakfast spread was wonderful. There was fruit, sausage, mushrooms, eggs, chia seed pudding, pastries, juices etc. I had dinner one night here and got a burger and it was fresh and filling. I would stay at RockyPop again, and would recommend to family and friends (esp those coming in larger groups) who don't mind a short trek into Chamonix.

Our room was clean and had a good amount of Space. The hotel is about 15/20 minute bus ride into Chamonix but the prices are far cheaper than anything in the city directly. They have a delicious restaurant where I had one of the best cheese pizzas of my life. There are a lot of activities at the hotel and it is very lively. The only thing is they DO NOT do bag check if you arrive early. We were lucky enough to check in early however you can't store bags here. Would stay again. I really enjoyed my visit overall.

Service was average, nothing special but not poor. Continental breakfast was painfully early, from 7 to 9am and 3 EUR per person, if I recall correctly. The view was wonderful. The location, right on a plaza, across from the tourist office, next to the church with a great cafe downstairs and a bakery across the plaza, was unbeatable. The front desk woman, I've forgotten her name by she was the absolute sweetest, was so helpful and made me feel very comfortable and welcomed. I know about 2% of words in French (ill prepared for this trip, I know) but she spoke English very well and helped me with a few French words. The room was small and nothing fancy, but honestly, even with a 8 month old, I was barely in the room and I doubt you will be either. I pushed the beds together we slept wonderfully. I woke early, cracked the balcony door cracked open and enjoyed the sights of Chamonix at 3 am. The fact that this is the ACTUAL view from my room was insane. I felt very safe, the location can't be beat (across the street from the tourist center so you can grab WiFi if you need it), and in great walking distance from the rest of the town. Loved it and will stay again when we visit again.
