We had a family suite, which had an area with a king size bed, a separated area with a bunk bed for the kids, toilet in a separated room and ample bathroom with bath tube. It was perfect for us, very spacious and comfortable. On the roof top there was a spa, with a couple of saunas, a heated pool, jacuzzi and beautiful view of the city and the alps. We got here a bit early on the check in day, but there were able to take take of our luggage while we perused the city. Cant complain and would stay here again

The second morning all I heard was banging which I assumed was the two other rooms where our doors are all inches apart. I finally turned and a large man was standing at my bedside. I was so terrified I screamed out. The man left the room and the cleaning woman stood apologizing, her English being very poor. I called downstairs and spoke to Ali the manager. Calmly I tried to explain what had happened. He told me he was aware and gave several excuses. 1. The sign to not disturb wasn't on the door. Not true. 2. I didn't lock the door. Untrue. That's why they brought the maintenance man in to open the door. 3. They were worried about me. Not true. It was 9 am and I had neither been drinking or making any kind of noise the previous night or ever. What shocked me most was they could not accept how frightening this could be for a woman alone. I was asked by the manager Ali --"May I ask, why are you so upset? I was trying to stress that the man should never enter the room first and alone. To which I was told "you're a strong woman, why are you frightened?" It felt surreal. The assistant Dylan also lacked any sense of empathy or ownership. I was told "ok, this is over now, you are safe, no need to worry." And got up and walked away. I spoke with the travel agent who contacted the hotel and was told "the issue was resolved" They said it was resolved and so then the issue was resolved. It was not resolved for me. The hotel bed was insanely hard. I used the bed cover on top of the mattress to soften it and make it sleepable. Never, under any circumstances would I recommend this hotel. I had to give it one star as mandated by YELP

Shops, restaurants, pubs and Mont Blanc is also just a short walk away. In an older building rooms are a bit small but if you are in town to ski they are ideal. I think all rooms fit two in either two singles or one double arrangement with a desk, chair and closet. Don't miss the impressive granite staircase on the way to your room. Bathroom is large in comparison and seems to be almost half the size of the room. Shower is a bit tight but has great pressure. Drying rack in the bathroom comes in handy for spring skiing. Breakfast each morning was 10 Euros from 7:30-10 am. No hot food but still well worth it as we took advantage of it each day. Staff is both knowledgable and very friendly as you would expect for a small hotel. Parking is limited but they do have 4 spaces for guests. I had parking throughout my stay. Struggled to find it with my GPS. As you come in from the parking lot is a loop with dead end. The hotel is down the dead end alley adjacent to the parking barrier but over your shoulder. Wouldn't hesitate to come here again!

The view was wonderful. The location, right on a plaza, across from the tourist office, next to the church with a great cafe downstairs and a bakery across the plaza, was unbeatable. Lots of shopping and restaurants nearby, a park on the backside and another park a few blocks away. We loved our stay here and it was the highlight of my son's trip to Europe.

The front desk woman, I've forgotten her name by she was the absolute sweetest, was so helpful and made me feel very comfortable and welcomed. I know about 2% of words in French (ill prepared for this trip, I know) but she spoke English very well and helped me with a few French words. The room was small and nothing fancy, but honestly, even with a 8 month old, I was barely in the room and I doubt you will be either. I pushed the beds together we slept wonderfully. I woke early, cracked the balcony door cracked open and enjoyed the sights of Chamonix at 3 am. The fact that this is the ACTUAL view from my room was insane. I felt very safe, the location can't be beat (across the street from the tourist center so you can grab WiFi if you need it), and in great walking distance from the rest of the town. Loved it and will stay again when we visit again.

Rooms are small but very comfortable and beautifully decorated. Staff is friendly, attentive, and not intrusive. I stayed at several similar hotels while walking the Tour and both me and my traveling companion agreed this hotel had the best breakfast buffet. Excellent selection and beautiful presentation. I can't think of a thing they could do better.

The owners work from sunup until sundown and it shows. The rooms were immaculate and cozy as well as the common spaces. you just had that feeling that it is cleaner than your own home at least mine in Chicago. . The couple and employee who run it went above and beyond to make the stay spectacular. They answered the same questions over and over and never were impatient with us. My husband speaks rudimentary French yet their English is much better than our French. We stated in a family room with a bunk bed and two single beds for the parents pushed together. We slept under thick clean down comforter s which kept us warm at night and because it was so comfortable, we slept in so late that we almost missed breakfast. The breakfasts were out of this world. Ww had homemade yoghurt, fruits, muesli, eggs.local cheeses and breads and the list goes on. We were satiated until dinner so its actually worth the price. They have the sweetest dog and two cats that my children fell in love with. It was also such an easy stay because the bus to the different mountains are literally across the street. Also, ask for their recommendation for good dinner places. and because of them We had not one bad meal in Chaminoix. The last night we ate at an Italian restaurant housed in a 700 year old farmhouse. It was out of this world....We plan on returning sone day, hopefully sooner rather than later!

We loved the boutique vibe, the decor and the beds were very comfortable. Breakfast every morning was the same, but a nice variety. The bar/lounge area was comfortable and there were nice apre ski snacks every day. There is a car shuttle which they will use to take you to the bus stop, dinner or into town (though town is literally 3 minutes from the hotel.) My only suggestion would be to have a ski shuttle which could take guests to the various mountains--La Tour is a 40 minute bus ride and its an 8 minute walk to the bus stop with your skis, boots etc. Overall, a lovely hotel in a good location.

Good mt view along with the river (can hear it as well). Only complaint is no AC which i know is relatively prevalent in the area. Keep in mind the '70's' given the elevation feels quite abit warmer and this was in June. They did give us a fan which helped. Restaurant wasn't in service this time of year (had breakfast but at 25 euro per, didn't do it). Great location though to everything else in walking distance. Spa area was nice, but the (very small) pool is completely indoor, no out-door pool.

The common areas, lobby, spa, bar, lounge, and ski lockers were one step above a youth hostel. Spa area needed prior reservation and only allowing 1 hour limit and only 8 people at a time, and that's even for the tiny "pool." Breakfast area was in the basement in a converted banquet like room with buffet table, sterile. Per se, Ski "locker" was small room in the parking garage, no heater. Staff was unaccommodating. I give 1 star because the room was extremely small but clean and tidy.
