This very cozy joint has a nice vibe and fun, Mexican tchotchkes adorning the walls. If you happen to be there on a live music night, then expect to be both fairly hot and fairly packed in there like fish in a tin. One can pop out onto the patio for a bit of fresh air and/or a smoke, but only before the show starts.
A friend of mine ordered a round of caipirinhas, and all I will say is don't order a caipirinha here if you've had one in Brazil, or, honestly, back in the States, but do order one if you really like the flavor of Rose's lime juice.
Leaving the bar at 11pm provided a visual treat as we inadvertently stumbled onto the mini-red light district in full swing just around the corner. If I ever again make the claim that ZH is boring, then all I need do is find myself in the Kurzgasse and environs to be quickly dissuaded of the notion.
