This time, there is a Michelin sign up, but that wasn't the motivation to go. It was because we remembered the pumpkin ravioli with sage and amaretto cookie, the fresh pasta with black truffle, and the wonderful, authentic vibe of this place. It's a busy place, and the elegance is just enough when paired with the working class traditional cuisine. It's a special place. And, it is tucked away in the cute medieval quarter of Ferrara. Think of it as a coffee crumble cake but with almond liquor instead and a crunchy nutty topping instead of coffee cake crumbles.

The older women, a former French teacher, is a delight.. the Guinea Hen dish was a knockout. Both the stuffed raviolis (pumpkin or beef) were outstanding.
