    Fish tacos.
    Mark G.

I haven't been here in probably close to 20 years. My family used to eat here a lot back in the day as I grew up here in town. The food was great back then. I had learned it's owned by the original family that owned it when I grew up up here. This visit the service and the food did not disappoint. This little hidden gem in Crestline is worth the stop. it's a small but quaint little place where the staff are super friendly and make you feel like you're at home. Not knowing what to get I did look on yelp and see what others were saying. I ordered the fish tacos and they did not disappoint. They were crispy, hot and fresh and full of flavor. When I go back, I will order that same again . Thank you, La Casita for a wonderful dinner as I will return.

    Steak fajitas

I would say my first experience was okay, I'd love to give this spot another try. After reading the reviews it seems like a burrito was the way to go. The steak fajitas were okay, they needed more seasoning and the steak was cooked about medium rare and they were thick pieces. The beans were a little disappointing, they somewhat seemed like they were from a can. Like I just said, I think a burrito or tacos were the way to go. The chimichanga was pretty good, filled to the brim with meat! Also, the iced tea was so good!! We sat outside and it was so nice to be out there. The service was good out there. There was a lot of shade! The outside was so cute! This spot seems to be a local spot! Everyone knew everyone and it was so awesome to watch that. The parking lot was a little small, we don't mind but we did have to park down the street and you get to walk on the beautiful mountain road!

The BEST mexican in town, hands down. The chips and salsa are always amazing and warm. Who doesn't like nice warm chips before their meal. The quality of the food is phenomenal. The chimichanga with red enchilada sauce is amazing. I always go for the shrimp tacos.

It was kind of fast and came to see how we were doing every few minutes. The bad experience starts with the food, first of all the price is very expensive compared to the quality of the food, about $30 for two tacos not mention that one taco had only four little shrimps, my wife got the flautas and as soon as she got them, we noticed there were mosquitoes on the food so we returned the plate We ended up eating at a different time because of this problem we still got charged for it, nothing special on the Michelada, which is 18 bucks for only one beer and clamato At the end, we order a dessert of fried ice cream and unfortunately, another bad thing with this food a pubic hair at the bottom of the fried ice cream. It was very nasty. I decided not to complain anymore, but instead to leave a review, this is the first and last time that I'm coming to this place Another thing to point out is the bathroom is in a horrible condition, they don't take the trash out once the bin is full so there's many things that they really have to work on

When we arrived, we were told it would be a two hour wait so obviously we decided to head next-door to Rosalva 's. It's important to know that it's directly off the highway so be wary when pulling in or out of the parking. There are enough spaces for about a dozen cars, but if those spaces are full, you may have to choose another option. Inside is fairly small, but they have a large outdoor patio that is popular during the summer and warmer months. Service was very fast and the menu itself is very large. For this visit, I decided to try the Steak Wet Burrito and enjoyed it. It was a large sized portion and overall it was pretty good. It's not quite as great as you get down at sea level, but given the location I would say it's one of the best options in Lake Arrowhead for Mexican food. I would stop in again next time I am visiting and would recommend to any fan of Mexican cuisine.

Walking in yesterday, it was such a good-vibe, welcoming place. There was sunshine coming through the large windows and color all around. Our waitress was warm and welcoming as well as on top of our dining needs, even as it got busier. We 4, two of us being vegetarians, each found something delicious to enjoy. I got the BAT Omelette, which was generous with cheese, avocado, bacon, and as a delightful switch up, cherry and grape tomatoes. The presentation was a feast for the eyes, with its dainty and colorful flower petals on top. In fact, all dishes were beautifully presented. I ordered fruit instead of potatoes, which was enough to share. My mom found her bagel and lox delectable and a large enough portion to take 1/2 home. Friends found vegetarian enjoyment in the Goat omelette and the breakfast sammie. They were both well pleased with bellies full. All of us were happy brunchers ! As we dined, the place welcomed a steady stream of guests, both inside and out, which is furry best friend welcoming. So, on Sundays, come early. Great food, vibe, service....a perfect opportunity to break bread together when local or up the hill for a visit.

I ordered the chicken tenders and fries. One of my friends ordered the bacon bbq burger with onion rings. We split these plates so we could both try two different dishes. I accidentally ordered a buffalo sauce instead of the bbq for my nuggets, and I was not a fan of the sauce. It was a dark sauce with too much smokiness to it. My friend ordered a side of bbq and that one was much better. The tenders are crispy and pair well with their bbq sauce or their ranch. The burger was also tasty. Fries were okay and I did not like their onion rings. They had a different taste to them. I couldn't put my finger on the flavor but it wasn't good in my opinion. My other friend ordered mozzarella sticks, and they were not good. No cheese pull, and it honestly tasted like moderately fried string cheese. The food took a really long time to come out. I know they were busy, but once the food came, we inhaled it because of how hungry we were. The vibes there are excellent though. We really enjoyed the music and the staff were fantastic. I still recommend making a pit stop here if you're ever in the Crestline area.
