I understand that Ciudad Guzman is not a tourist area, it just for necessity or business, but they should find the way to satisfy the guest elemental necessities. Luckily I can go deep into trance. Lets just say this hotel makes you feel like you are staying over at some Tias house and gives you that homey feeling. The mattresses are ok and could do better. Also the bathrooms need to be check and sealed because when I took a shower it felt like I was flooding my entire room. Would I come again? The staff was incredible and the cabins were great. A destination wedding can be a lot of work but here they made everything so easy. The staff even pitched in and helped with putting up decorations/ chairs. They really went above and beyond. Looking back it's hard to believe how much they really did for us. First floor consists of a kitchen, dining room, and two separate little reading rooms. There's also a small lap pool. Bedrooms are all in the second floor. The third floor is where the owner lives. With your stay, a good breakfast is served, home cooked by the staff there in their kitchen. As me and my family have stayed there a couple of times, we've come to learn that you can request why the main dish can be. Regardless, it's alway three courses, a plate of sliced fresh fruit, oatmeal, and main dish. Location is great, lake front and only a short one block away from the main road down the middle of Chapala town. They also have a small private parking lot for their guests. If needed, they are able to pick you up from the Guadalajara airport, tho I would not necessarily recommend this. It's not what they really do in a normal basis. Every time we visit family in Chapala, we always check to see if they have rooms available and if yes, that's where we stay.
