We were staying very near this brasserie and went for dinner one night. It started raining terribly…read morehard, driving all of us under their canopies to stay dry.
Tables were pushed together and new friends were made! We were the only English speakers there. One of the staff spoke a little and helped us make our selections.
We enjoyed the random storm and the new friends, but were a little surprised at the burger, as it is not what we usually have in the US. More like a loosely formed patty, served very rare.
Very good, but a bit off putting if not expected.
The star of the show was the charcuterie board, delicious and massive. We split it and the burger and still couldn't finish it all.
A fun place that is relaxed and clearly has several regulars. While they do close in the evening, there is no rush to finish and leave, as people stay for hours after drinking, smoking and enjoying the evening together.
