For a tiny hole in the wall restaurant that one would pass over (unless they'd read yelp) this place is FABULOUS! We wanted to take it all in so we got enchiladas, tacos, chalupa, taquitos, and a hamburger. Seriously, we threw the munch. Hamburger was fresh and hot off the grill and had homemade bread, chalupa and tacos were super fresh and the veggies cold (just like I like them). We heard this was a great restaurant. We were pretty disappointed. The lunch was $10.95 each... The taco and chalupa shells were not homemade. They were the ones you buy at Heb that are already cooked and prepackaged. I have never been to any restaurant that did this. We had heard they have great corn and flour tortillas and that's why we went.. Had they used these tortillas instead of the already cooked prepackaged ones maybe the tacos and chalupas would have been better. Worst we ever had. Seating area is a bit crowded though and if you go on a Friday, Saturday or Sunday morning expect to stand around waiting for a table. Once seated though the service is great. I've ordered there brisket gorditas twice and they're ok . I think they leave the meat to big so it makes them hard to eat and they don't have a lot of flavor but they're ok. The rice and beans are good. We ordered menudo once and it was so smelly we couldn't eat it had to be thrown out. I've heard they have good breakfast but we haven't wanted to go back so I don't know.
