The interior is nicely appointed and pretty. Here is what counts: the food is amazing. The concierge at my hotel recommended and I know why. First, I started with an appetizer sampler of the Piedmontese traditional foods. Delicious. My waiter recommended a Barolo which paired perfectly. Then, I had the Agnolotti pasta, perfectly cooked and the sauce was light and complimented the pasta perfectly. For dessert, I got the hazelnut cake with hazelnut mouse and hazelnut ice cream. Perfect start to my vacation. On top of all of that everyone at Corona Reale was SO NICE. An overall great experience!

Even though I speak extremely limited Italian, the staff was so nice. I started with scallops with pumpkin sauce and black truffle, delicious! Then, I had the ravioli with beef broth. The preparation and placement of the food was a work of art. I especially enjoyed the sweetbreads with artichokes in a delicate lemon sauce. The ribs were equally as delicious and tender as the meat fell of the bones. A special request for a chocolate dessert was the end to a beautiful evening there.
