If at all possible, avoid this grill. After a lovely ferry ride into Corsica then a 3 hour…read moremountain tour, we arrived at our hotel and this grill was its counterpart restaurant. We were tired and since it looked like a French version of Denny's, we thought a quick bite of comfort food is all we'd need before bed.
I wish we'd gotten a taxi into town and went to a local café. Very limited menu. When you order anything, you need to know they serve you a "courtesy" salad. I'm not sure why. It's a bowl of lettuce and a sauce. it confused some patrons who ordered a deluxe salad and confused me as to why would you serve something so sad. No soup. I asked for a grilled cheese. (It's not on the menu but they have bread, butter, cheese, and a grill but alas, NO was the answer.) We ended up splitting a hot dog, sharing a "deluxe" berry salad void of berries, and got a baked potato. The baked potato was the best thing we ate there. Dismal service. I speak ok French, so the language barrier wasn't the problem. The wait staff lacked experience and common sense.
If you want some mediocre wine, coffee, or a soft drink... this is your place. If you want anything else; opt for the 45 minute walk or 10 minute taxi ride into town.
