She was so patient and helpful with sizing, ordering, looking for more of the product I wanted. This is one of the only stores in the US you can order not just Dirndls, but also Mieders. Mieders are amazing because you get a great festival look that you can wear with your OWN jeans! Great for travel and when it's fall in Germany because I find it a bit cold. Erika also has the largest selection of blouses online. 10 stars!

She orders most of her products from German retailers and shops directly, everything we found was definitely authentic. His prices are reasonable and he always has great pieces in stock. I saw another reviewer complain about there not always being prices and the clothes piles he keeps in the front/back of the shop. I thought this was funny because it's my favorite part about this place! The owner is super fair with his pricing and gives a discount if you're buying more than one item. I also love sitting there and going through the pile of clothes before he's had the chance to price everything and hang it up for everyone to see. I have gotten some of my favorite vintage finds from the piles and paid about half, if not less, than I would at any other shop in town. Thank you for doing what you do!

As soon as we walked in, we were warmly greeted by a gentleman (I wish I'd gotten his name!) who immediately made us feel welcome. He was friendly, clearly passionate about books, and incredibly knowledgeable. He asked if it was our first time visiting, and when we said yes, he surprised us with an amazing gesture....a free book, each, tailored to our favorite genres. We were blown away by the generosity and thoughtfulness. The store itself is a treasure. Books galore, neatly organized by genre, and the place is not super larger, but makes you just want to look at it all. They also have a great selection of puzzles throughout. It's obvious that this place is loved -- both by the people who work there and those who visit. I purchased one book and I felt the price was reasonable. I can't wait to come back to Red Wing and when I do, I think another stop at this charming bookstore is on the list. Highly recommend to any fellow book lovers!
