Food : I honestly can say you can't go wrong with any pizza here. I personally always order the grilled veggie pizza it's so fresh and delicious ! However, I have gone with many different friends and everyone has always had a great food experience. Customer service: The customer service quality here is excellent. They are so kind and are rapid for fresh pizza. Environment: Parking is spacious as well as seating! When you first walk in there is a covered patio area seating which is great for the warmer months. Inside the style is lovely and calming. Seating is plentiful and abundant. We have been to this restaurant many times and never had a long wait. The space is tucked away off the main cathedral plaza and has a very calm atmosphere despite its formality. The server helping us was extremely gracious and friendly, and we have to say that the two white wines that he selected for us were absolutely fantastic. We started with the poached egg and asparagus, and we didn't love it. Most of the dish was cold, which is not usually welcome with eggs, but the flavor was nice (LOTS of sauce, as in way too much). For primi, our daughter's eggplant parmigiana ravioli were really nice, and that was probably our favorite dish of the meal. The lemon linguine was super citrusy, but one of us did not love the pairing with the trout eggs. The "mixed grilled meat" plate was very novel. There was this odd salad that was almost like a soup but it was so fresh and delicious-tasting, and definitely very unique. The various meats we tried were also quite tasty, so the dish overall landed well for us. Even though we didn't fall in love with this restaurant, we would recommend it and can see ourselves going again if we're ever back in Cremona (fingers crossed!!). They also gave us a copy of their menu as a souvenir which had this beautiful picture of a fairy playing the violin that we are going to frame, so that's a nice memory. 3.5 stars, rounding up for the memories!

As we entered and sat I was honestly concerned. Even when we read the menu, which was presented in an envelope ( really cool ) I was still very concerned. As our dishes came my concern resided immediately. The food was presentation was amazing. The service was incredible and the taste. Incredible. I had the meat filled ravioli, the meat pizza and the pasta made of eggplant, can't pronounce or spell name. All was incredible. Then for desert crepes. Wow. They said they were low calorie too. La Postumia is a charming restaurant on the outskirts of the olde center of Cremona and while may…read morenot look like much from the outside I still went here based on a recommendation from a colleague. From the moment I stepped in I had a very good feeling about it and the feeling got stronger after a very warm welcome from the man in charge. Was promptly seated and while there was no menu in English they were happy to explain everything on there. The Beatles song All you need is love was playing and while that may be true I would soon realize that one also may at least not want to live without he wonderful food at La Postumia. After having ordered I was presented with an assortment of bread as well as a small amouse bouche in the form of meatballs mixed with some sort of cheese. A great start of the dinner. Very full and flavorful wine, a Primitivo from Puglia was served by the glass. A very good wine that was full of berry flavors and that went surprisingly well with both dishes. The pasta I started with was a tagliatelle with bacon, fresh mushrooms and caramelized apples. Was a bit surprised by the apples but their sweetness mixed perfectly with the salty bacon. After this felt rather full but still went for the pork fillet with a truffle sauce. I am a sucker for truffle so could not stand the temptation. The pork was good and the sauce was great but after half the dish I was ready to burst. Would have loved to taste the desserts but was already at risk of ending up like Mr. Creosote (for those who do not understand please update yourself of pop culture references from the 80s i.e. Monty Python) so settled for an espresso. Left more than full and happy and all that at less than €30. I will most definitely be back next time I am in Cremona.
