Informal atmosphere and nice, somewhat raw, interior partly composed of reused wooden materials from old houses. Tasty food and good drinks. The entrés are small (as tacos usually are, no surprises here for the seasoned eater of Mexican food). 3 tacos (of the same kind) per plate. Each one will cost you 120-199 NOK. You'd probably want 1.5-2 plates, so sharing is recommended! We were 5 persons, and shared a total of 9 plates. Loved the Baja California! My only "complaints" about this place are that your dinner will get "pricy" (not really, but still) because of the portion sizes, and that the interior didn't seem quite finished yet (again, they just opened, so I'll expect them to fix that soon).

I asked to see a manager--and he was fairly clueless and unable or unwilling to help in any way. Never--and we travel a lot--have I been asked to leave a table after ordering. Especially maddening was a vacant downstairs with 40-50 tables and only, maybe 20% occupancy upstairs. How long does it take to eat a friggin' taco? To top it all off, I asked the cook downstairs, "¿Es la comida auténtica en sus sabores?" To which he answered, "Nei." I would strongly recommend avoiding this pretentious, unfriendly, and mismanaged restaurant at all costs.

We were there as they opened the door, first in line, and they turned us away saying they were full and had no opening. We explained that we inquired earlier and were told to come back at opening and they would fit us in and we're still denied. I'd have loved to try this, but I feel compelled to leave a review as this was very deceitful. If they would have said no, we would have went elsewhere, but we waited 1.5 hours for them to open expecting them to honor their word.
