Given the fact that we were just passing by Torre di Palme, with a short time for break, we chose…read morethis restaurant for a coffee, because it is very cozy, romantic and with a good scenery lookout. Since, there was no coffee in the menus, we decided to eat just dessert, because the time was short.
I must say that I have never been more insulted than with this service, especially with the male waiter. First, he seated us on the little table on the right (photo) like we are stray-dogs, even though the restaurant was empty, even though we said that we won't be long. OK, maybe(!) it was reserved most of it. So, we swallowed that.
But then, while we were ordering the dessert, he got angry, started shouting and he cursed us (I understand Italian by the way), when we said that we are only here for dessert, because we do not have much time. And we waited for that awful Tiramisú and Mousse Yoghurt for 30 minutes, and they were OK, but not for the given price. We ate that quickly, because we were already runing late and we asked politely for the check. He ignored me three times on purpose when I asked for the check and made us wait for another 20 minutes! My friend stood still to give him a sign that we will be leaving, but he just nodded at us and left us waiting for another 10 minutes. Rude, terrible, awful!!!
The restaurant is lovely, fine dining place, sooo romantic, but the service!? Disgusting! That is how you ruin your bussiness!!
