I came here to grab a sandwich for lunch and was a little disappointed. This is a small cafe with…read morebread, coffee, and some pastries, but they seem to specialise in sandwiches, as that's the biggest part of their menu on the wall. The sandwiches seem made-to-order, which is also nice so that the inside part is fresh and the bread doesn't get soggy. I got the special sandwich of the week, which was chorizo, manchego and lettuce, and it cost 5,5 €. It was a pretty simple sandwich with meat, cheese and lettuce, and the bread was fine but nothing to rave about in my opinion, especially not for the price. I found the sandwich to be on the smaller side - it was a bit thin/skinny. My favorite place for sandwiches in Toulouse is still Peche Mignon close to Carmes Market, the sandwiches range from 3-5€ and are much larger in size and quantity of filling. I was still hungry after eating my sandwich from here. You can get some croissants, some other bread here, but the pastries didn't look particularly fresh to me. They also had lasagna as their plate of the day and a few warmer sandwiches like Croque Monsieur, etc. Also, be careful of the rubber-bands that they use to hold the sandwiches together. There are usually 2 of them, and hidden by the paper that they wrap around the sandwiches. So I got an unwelcome surprise trying to chew through some stretchy fabric covered band that I thought was part of the sandwich. Cash only so plan accordingly. Sadly, I don't think I'll be back - there are better places in Toulouse for baked goods, bread and sandwiches.

Excellent bread and coffee at this adorable little a French cafe. The staff is very friendly and at…read moreleast one of the women there spoke English and helped me to figure out how to order another coffee to go (cafe au lait a emportier). Cash only, definitely worth a trip.

Food: I am in Toulouse so I HAD to get a cassoulet at some point. There's was good, better than I…read morehave had in the past, but the duck inside was dried out because of the oven roasting. I would have preferred the meat cut into smaller pieces in the dish itself. We also tried the frogs legs because I had never had them before. For a first time, they were good, tasted like chicken, SERIOUSLY! The breading was good but not amazing, could use a little flavor. However, I can say that I enjoyed the frogs legs and would get them again. The cassoulet probably not... Service: Our waiter was nice, no complaints. It was a little dead when we came in, so I don't know if it was just a bad night or if they are typically like this. But for being the only people (pretty much) in the restaurant, you'd think he might've been a little more attentive...? But that's okay, we didn't really mind. Atmosphere: It is spread out inside, a definite plus. Like a cute, Frenchy cafe. Bathrooms were clean, but dark inside. Nice place, looked newly renovated. Price: It was a little more on the pricy side. I mean, it WAS a nice place, but we didn't really know that going in. You can get cheaper restaurants and cheaper cassoulets as well. Overall: This place was a "spur of the moment" thing. I thought the name was funny, so we decided to try it. It was just middle-of-the-road as far as everything, nothing was amazing. Like I said, the frogs legs were one of those "things" to try while in France and I would get them again, but perhaps not from this place. I would give it one more try with something else, but I don't know when I would be back to Toulouse!

Just had dinner here and wasn't very impressed. It was very quiet yet the staff ignored you. The small amount of vegetables were good. The dessert tasting plate was very average. A fruit salad was €6 for a small amount and included sultanas. I wouldn't return here.
