No worries, my review is based purely on the quality food, friendly service, and great atmosphere. The men of our group took the roasted lamb plat du jour plate, and the girls opted for salads and smoked salmon and toast. The food was fresh and tasty. I especially loved the salmon. It is the best I have had in Switzerland. The salmon slices were thick, juicy, and full of flavor..very refreshing on a hot day. Only one improvement could have been reducing the quantity of sliced onions on top. No worries though, that is easy to remove. The boys enjoyed their meat, which came nicely topped with a yummy mushroom sauce. My husband even watched them while they roasted the meat. We topped the meal off by sharing a house made citron tarte, which was good, but missing the extra "citron kick" that I prefer. The café to finish the meal was just a lovely note to end the experience. My friends have come here a couple of times before, and they mentioned that one thing they love about the place is that the menu offers a bit of something for everyone, and they haven't found anything bad. Don't try the Risottos for example, I saw one person ordering them and it wasn't really well presented neither looking delicious. On the other hand, they have some descent Filets de Perche and the Pizza are excellent. Service 3/5: Service is sporadic but it's still a little bit over average. Some of their waiter are really nice people and aware of their surrounding. Others have more a "Laissez Faire" attitude. Great restaurant to go to for Lunch and make sure to reserve your table initially if you're going during the week since most of the people working in Nyon are eating there.

The service is average: they are nice, but inattentive to their customer's needs. The place looks decent, and they have a very nice patio in the back. There are two options worth taking advantage of here pasta/ravioli or salad. The pre-made items are nothing special and didn't look fresh. The pasta and salad are made fresh to order right in front of you. They take the ingredients of your choice and cook or mix it right up fresh. The line on the right hand side is for salad, and the line on the left is for pasta. I choose something warm, and went for the pasta. They cook up a selection of veggies (your choice) and for an extra 2 CHF the meat of your choice. You can then choose from three different sauces. Once done, you can add fresh grated Parmesan cheese to top it off. The pasta was good, just a bit oily at the bottom. The seating area isn't the most comfortable, standard cafeteria style standards. Be sure to first locate a seat and save it with your coat, and then wait in line, as the seating area is not very large. When you are done just take your tray to the container at the front for the dirty dishes. I will have to try the salad next time, as it looked very good. TIP: be sure to get the fidelity card here if you plan on returning here, the 9th plate of pasta is free. The fidelity card also has a section for cafe, but I didn't see one for salads.

This restaurant prides itself in focusing on local and seafood. This is a bit pricey for dinner, but the plat du jour at lunch time during the week is a great deal at only 24 CHF. The plat du jour menu changes weekly, and mainly focuses on their main speciality, fish. First of all, even on a grey rainy day, this restaurant's small indoor area is very cheerfully lit by natural lighting due to the many large windows. On a clear day, the view would be amazing from here of the lake and mountains, and in the summer the large deck area would be even better to eat on. Of course, I took the plat du jour for Friday, which came with a green salad starter and main entree. The salad had a fantastic tangy dressing, and the fish (I can't remember which kind) was amazing. It is hard to find good seafood in Switzerland, and this was cooked perfectly. Even the bread that came with it was perfect. I also ordered the apple dessert from the menu to end things, and it was delicious. The salted caramel ice cream served with it was fantastic. I should have asked if it was something I could purchase in a store. To top it off, the service was very friendly, and the chef even asked me as I was leaving how my meal was and what I thought. I eventually went over there and asked the waitress how long it was going to be and she said that our order had been canceled about an hour ago. We had no idea why this would be but she said there were some miscommunication on shift change and that the only thing they could cook for us right now was a ham sandwich or maybe some spaghetti. To be fair she was very nice and apologetic and she really wanted to do anything she could to make it up but the fact is we just ran out of time and I told her that it was disappointing because I had spoken to two different waiters in detail about our order. Anyway kudos to her for trying her best but shame on the management for allowing the lax treatment of three customers who are obviously sitting there waiting.

We decided to take a seat and order. The service was friendly and fast. I ordered a Greek salad, and my husband got the Chicken Brochette. I was surprised by delicious my salad looked, I never expect much from these Kebab shops. The salad was fresh and delicious. I had a few bites of my husbands chicken plate and it was very yummy. Also liked that the chicken was made from what appeared to be quality white chicken meat. They also offer a variety of spirits, wine, beers, and soft drinks on the menu. We had a coffee following our meal and were happy to find it wasn't just a nestle espresso capsule. I will definitely be going back here to check out their other options.
