Meanwhile I was focused on the Old Fashioned, a tasty concoction of sautéed mushrooms, carnal iced onions, and a spicy creamy sauce. Any other day I would have been all over the truffle burger, but it might have to get in line with all the other tempting choices: Carolina (pork), Texan (beef and cheddar), All-American (w/ fromage US), am I really in Switzerland? All y'all can try the veggie or plant varieties. I'll stick to the plant-based sides (frites). I guess technically this place is "touristy" but they pull it off Genève-style with friendly service and helpful wait staff. While it wasn't bad, it just didn't really deliver anything that you expect from a place that only features burgers. It's located right in the middle of town, on a relatively quiet street. It has a nice interior and friendly service - a little bit hipster-feel to it with bright colors and retro table settings. The burger was fresh, toppings were decent and the bacon on my burger was pretty nice. It was a decent sized burger, but tasted almost like the meat had been frozen at some point and then was packed too densely into a patty. The chips were underwhelming as well, kind of mushy in the center. However, my wallet was left asking where all those precious Swiss Francs went after the meal.
