We met the winemakers at both vineyards, listened to their very interesting history and about their processes, and tasted a few wines at each. Back to downtown Montreal after a little traffic by 6PM. We had a semi-dry, sweet wine tasting! Our assessments: 1. Maple - our favorite! I personally couldn't taste the maple as much but undeniably sweet, but not very that it's overwhelming 2. Brianna - smooth, not too rich, a close runner up to the Maple 3. Highlands Blush - taste like strawberry! Delicious! 4. Arctic Fox - cool and smooth. Wasn't a favorite among the group, but personally I wanted a bottle. 5. Riesling - still delicious, but no surprises here - expected 6. Aromella - very fruity! Looked like a family was running this place. The older lady who served us was so friendly and explained how they make their own maple syrup too! We bought a bunch and can't wait to try.
