We have a second home in the village of Cairanne, where Castel Mireio is located. From time to…read moretime, we arrive before renters have vacated our house and we always book at Castel Mireio when it is available. Odille, the hostess and owner, is warm and welcoming, the rooms are comfortable and decorated in a Provencal manner that is in keeping with the area. Castel Mireio is located in the midst of the some of the best wine country in the world in a village with great restaurants and good services and is close to Roman ruins and beautiful, historical perched villages. The restaurant at Castel Mireio offers a lovely breakfast with fresh crossants and delicious coffee on a pretty terrace when warm or the lovely, cozy dining room in winter, and traditional provencal lunches and dinners are available on the premises, as well. We recommend it highly.
