Several times I have come here with minor problems with my watch-strap, and he has fixed it without charging me a cent. Replacing a watch-battery is also extremely inexpensive. At one point, he spent a long time trying to fix my old watch without success, and handed it back to me apologetically and without charging me for his time and effort. Instead, I found a hostile old man with an ugly personality, who snarled at me that he didn't have time and I should come back on Monday. I asked if I could leave the watch right now, but for some odd reason he couldn't understand why I wouldn't come back and leave it next week. A younger woman who also works there was very embarassed, trying to explain to him what I wanted, without success. He behaved like I was a criminal and he was doing me a huge favor even to speak to me. Of course I gave up and left. If your watch is broken, ask your dog if he can fix it. He'll be equally helpful and much more courteous than this horrible man.
