The "Olive Grove of the Prischi" neatly sums up what awaits you: A neat, modern little house in the middle of the olive groves of the Maremma laziale where the only sound you will hear (apart from possible the odd tractor) is the wind blowing through the olive trees. The B&B comes complete with one sympathetic owner and one well-behaved dog.
The one snag with ensconing yourself in the maremmian landscape is that you have to cross quite a bit of it to get there. We came from Vulci heading towards the main road from Montalto di Castro to Canino (SS 312); from then it was (more or less) straight on for a good while through fields and olive groves to the very end and then along the road to the left and after a bit you'll find the B&B on your left (the marker on the map is a rough approximation).
From Canino the way should be signposted, but obviously you should have some kind of vehicle, if you want to stay here (or be an avid walker). read more
