Sally stocks a wide range of hair and beauty supplies. I discovered this when a friend of mine used to colour my hair at home. We had a great deal - I would drive her here, pay for the colour and bleach, which usually came to under £20.00, then make her lunch or dinner while she did my hair, and that was my payment. I miss those days. As I am not in the beauty trade, I don't get the hallowed 40% discount. Still, there is a lot that I can get here that works out cheaper than even, say, Superdrug. Plenty of the shampoos and conditioners that are used in salons, and then pushed as a sale after they have done your hair can be found here, always at a vastly reduced price.

There is a ladies hair salon to the back of the shop and a small nail bar to the front as you enter. But there are things in here that I will always come into pick up. One is The Yummy One, a massage bar that I use in the shower which pumps so much moisture into my dry skin. The other is the BabyFace cleansing bar which takes your makeup off but doesn't strip your skin off at the same time, it leaves it really soft. If you are shopping here for the first time, be warned that the staff - who are very friendly and helpful - are big fans of the up sell, so you will be encouraged to compliment your purchases with more purchases.

If you are looking to buy a wig, value for money and quality wise, you can't really get better than this area. A huge selection of shops with a variety of styles. After much trying on and playing with all of the wigs in the shop I walked out with a £30 real hair shaggy cut. Fabulous! It's great for when you just fancy a change or if you're having a bad hair day. I'd suggest coming in this shop with a friend. You can get a little carried away and end up walking out with a Tina Turner number if you take the fella behind the counters' advice.
