We were whisked into a warm homey Gite apartment, with an ample well equipt kitchen, charming dining area, washer, and dryer and a sitting room lined with comfortable sofas. Beds and showers were up a flight of stairs. The following morning, a look out of the bedroom window afforded a breathtaking view of the French countryside, rolling hills, lush fields, and medieval architecture.
