The issue is they won't release any of the photos to you after they are taken. You can't pay a fee for your digital prints to be printed where/how you choose, or stored on your computer like everyone else. Instead they go through this whole spiel about how they want to make quality prints and frames to go in your home. They actually go to length of email harrassing you to take pictures of the walls of your house so they can design a photo package that will fit your decor and wall size....still sounds ok right? That's because I haven't got to the price...I liked 4 photos they took, and it was explained I could get it in a package for a discounted price (these were unframed) and the package included (3)8x10's and (1)11x16....$1200.00!!!! For 4 prints!!!!! Unbelievable!!!! My wedding photos were just a few hundred more than that and I got access to over 3000 digital copies! To top it off they wouldn't release any phots to me at all...just to get out of there I bought a $150.00 8x10. It's too bad because the photos were great...but I will never return!

I thought I was trying to 'support local', as I am a local. I got notice via text only that my film was complete but unfortunately due to a freak incident one of my two films has been 'shredded' to pieces by their machine. Since I casually got this in a text message, I obviously called right away to ask what this was about. The first guy said this 'rarely happens' and it was their old machine but they would give me a refund for the film. There was no apology or acknowledgement that this could be upsetting until I pointed it out. This film was from a trip which sucked, but if someone had even more rare film to develop the lack of care or concern was beyond me. I called back to understand the refund and ask a little more how the machine had 'shredded' my film. A girl answered this time and started to tell me that it is 'very common' if I have worked with film I would know it happens. 1. Your first guy said it was rare a machine malfunction..so is it common or is it rare? 2. Trying to be condescending to your customers to make them feel like they should know better vs. taking any ownership or apology is an interesting approach. Any place I've gone for film before this, for years, have never had an issue. It's one thing if film doesn't develop, it's another if your machine just randomly shreds people's films to pieces. All in all steeeer clear. All of their staff are very apathetic, almost robotic and seem to not know how to work with people nor helpful. Pretty concerning when working with people's memories! This place would not last in any other city. Needless to say I will nottt be going back and making sure people steer clear.
