The Fusion Salon & Spa prides in using their plant-based hair care and skin care line- AVEDA natural beauty products. The place is gorgeous too- the inside has a nice, open space that inspires a modern, yet rustic, feel. There are large windows that literally take up the entirety of the walls of the storefront itself. The aestheticians and beauticians are all so welcoming and caring too; offering water or coffee with your visit! The best part? I absolutely love my new hair color- it is the best and most quality color job I've ever received (all thanks to my hairdresser- you know who you are, beautiful!) and the price is reasonable for the hard work that my aesthetician put in to making me feel beautiful! I've already received so many comments! I will come back here again (I've already made another appointment with her too!) and probably love it even more.

It's interesting they have different levels of experience that you can select, but this also helps if you have a budget. So they have level 1 stylists up to level 4 based on experience. When I went to the salon, every worker and customer were wearing masks and everything was clean. I ended up having to cut my appointment short but I let my stylist know when I got there that I was on a time crunch. She did a great job of finding solutions for what I wanted and sticking to my timeline. I will definitely be going back!

Depending on what was going in downtown Rockford it was sometimes challenging to find parking at the previous locations. It was especially difficult in bad weather or when running a little later. The new location is smaller, but cute and clean. The ladies that work there are all friendly. We've all had some great conversations. I like that they are honest with me about what my hair can and can't do when I come in with a particular idea or photo. I've had previous stylists at other locations that won't tell me that what I have in mind just won't work on my hair type, so I end up unhappy with the end result. With Becky I've tried numerous colors and shades, full highlights, only low-lights, baby-lights, some layers, no layers, trims, 6 in chops, and more. I'm always please with the end result.
