The Coq Au Vin was definitely a highlight. The appetizers on the tasting menu were OK. My wife had a filet mignon that was well-cooked and had a simple gravy sauce. The desserts we're good as we. I will say that for €38 euros for the tasting dinner, the value is very good. Overall, however the meal is very heavy in terms of butter and starches. The professional and sharia matrix prototype of French waiters is very apparent within the atmosphere here. Cozy, mirrored panels, fairytale animal paintings illustrations and red velvet couches made this place a dinner spot. My Foie Gas and my boyfriends snails were absolutely amazing. The foie was of course very decadent, but good quality. Though the herbal butter used on the snails was addictive! Amazing meals and perfect portion sizes. The wild duck in red berry sauce with my mashed potatoes was outstanding. My boyfriend's coq au vin was very well braised. There was a perfect amount of wine in the sauce and it was amazing to finish it off with bread. The authentic feeling of the atmosphere was enhanced more with our waiter telling that the place had apparently not need renovated since it opened in 1920s. Also their guests who attended weekly had their own napkins with initials on them. You can truly feel like. Parisian here. We ended our night with some amazing wine from Boudreaux and creme brûlée. Very reasonably priced. Felt like a Christmas feast. Worth a visit!
