If you're searching for a Mediterranean restaurant that combines both quality food and spectacular…read morenatural landscaping to create a dining experience that's truly magical, Panorama is just that. My friend and I enjoyed a fantastic lunch at Panorama one afternoon, and were highly impressed. The views of the Mediterranean coastline were stunning, as we sat on the terrace. Every one of our senses were invigorated by the food, the drinks, and the scents drifting through the air. The restaurant is designed to be minimalistic, using the view as its sole décor. Situated in the Marina Real Juan Carlos, Panorama's floor to ceiling glass windows and open-air terrace offer the best view of the Las Arenas beach, with the water of the Mediterranean Sea and the busy marina. We started with the sashimi trilogy: tuna, salmon, and butterfish. The fish was fresh and flavorful, with each having a different taste. My friend loved the octopus over creamed potatoes and oak-smoked olive oil. The oil had a smoky, woodsy flavor which was a perfect contrast to the taste of the sea from the octopus. We shared Valencian Fideua, vermicelli with fish and seafood from Gandia. The pasta was thin and tender, while the seafood had a great taste. The portions were perfect for sharing, and we had more than enough. For dessert, my friend indulged in brownie in hot chocolate soup and vanilla bourbon ice cream. She said the vanilla was sweet and balanced with the complexity of the bourbon flavor. I savored the taste of the light crème brulee with lemon coulis and toffee ice cream, which was buttery, creamy, and the lemon flavor gave a burst of citrus freshness. Since Panorama has a modern style of the traditional torrija, Spanish-style French toast, we had to try it. It was delicious!

Beautiful restaurant that is very fancy and gorgeous in decor. Our service was terrible. The…read morewaiter seemed like it was his first day on the job. No physical menus created many challenges. Only QR codes for your phone with 3 separate menus to choose from! The waiter asked if we wanted water and then immediately took our dinner order. No other beverages offered until after the food order was placed. We asked for wine recommendations and the waiter pointed at another table and told us they ordered something for wine so it must be good. My lady friend ordered a bottle of white and I ordered a bottle of red and the waiter brought both bottles out and offered the tasting preview to another couple at our table. The other couple ordered sangria and were made to taste our wine! Unheard of. Our appetizers, salads, and main course all arrived with 5 minutes of each other. The server that took our order could not remember what we ordered. He started placing dishes on the table that were not what each guest ordered. We had to swap the plates ourselves. Just terrible dinner service. One of our party ordered a beer and had to ask a second time for it after first receiving his steak. The number one way to make a check bigger is with alcohol drinks and we were only given the opportunity to have one per person with all of our dinner. Beautiful restaurant, perhaps the worst dinner service I've ever been a part of. The reservation process made this restaurant seem like one of the most prestigious restaurants in all of Valencia and turns out, it was a pig dressed up with makeup.
